Working closely with a TV station, Voice Technologies adds the VT600D to the VT600 series, a handset that delivers sound signals to the ear via a flexible spiral tube.
The tubing can be easily changed via a click lock, allowing multiple users, each with their own hearing tubes, to use the same driver module.
Especially in security and broadcast applications, where receivers are often used by several people in rotation, the VT600D is designed to reliably meet current hygiene requirements while maximizing cost efficiency. In addition, the VT600D can be installed very inconspicuously due to the long transparent spiral tube.
VT600D with exchangeable ear tubing
The VT600 earphone from Voice Technologies is said to have already been a staple in the demanding broadcast, theater and security sectors, combining comfortable wearing and good sound with an unobtrusive design. With the VT600D, the Swiss manufacturer is now introducing a special version of the earpiece, which is said to offer even greater flexibility thanks to its exchangeable spiral tube. The driver is mounted on the wearer’s clothing in the neck area, for example, and the high-quality hose, which is almost invisible due to its transparent material, guides the sound signals to the ear. A practical click closure ensures a firm connection to the driver. This design makes it easy to change the earpiece for cleaning purposes, for example, without having to replace the entire earpiece.

Hygiene has always been a key factor for the health of employees and a reliable, trouble-free workflow. Especially in the security segment and in broadcast applications, several employees often use the same receiver in rotation. With the VT600D from Voice Technologies, each user can be provided with his or her own personal earpiece, including sound guidance tubing, without having to purchase multiple systems for this purpose. Since the TV station should not have faced this challenge alone, Voice Technologies added the VT600D to its product range.
Extensive accessories for high flexibility
Thanks to the extensive range of accessories supplied, the VT600D is said to be easily adaptable to any individual requirement. The Ear/Accordion earpiece allows discreet use in the ear while providing good shielding from external noise, while the Ear Insert earpiece for the ear canal ensures an even more stable fit and is comfortable to wear. For optimal fit in the ear, there are four sizes each for right or left (S, M, L, XL). The AC400 clip allows the ear tube to be inconspicuously attached to clothing for effective strain relief. Like all Voice Technologies earphones, the VT600D is supplied in a sturdy and waterproof transport box, which is intended to protect the high-quality device securely when not in use, even in tough everyday production environments.
The right product for every requirement
Through permanent contact with international professionals from the theater, broadcasting and security industries, Voice Technologies says it wants to be able to offer the right product for every individual requirement. The VT60M miniature earphone has the driver integrated directly into the earpiece and ensures virtually invisible installation thanks to the ultra-thin, skin-colored lead cable. In contrast, the VT600, which also forms the basis for the VT600D, uses an external transducer and feeds the information into the ear via a tube. The interchangeable earpieces are intended to ensure a high degree of flexibility. The VT600C/H is also available with a coiled cable.
