Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro introduced: With HearID 2.0 and three modes for ANC!

Soundcore by Anker Innovations, introduces the next generation of its Liberty True Wireless earphone line, the Liberty Air 2 Pro, featuring advanced active noise cancellation (ANC), transparency and PureNote driver technology.

In October 2020, the Jabra Elite 85t (review) were launched in Titanium/Black as part of the new ANC range that complements the True Wireless portfolio. Users can now not only enjoy very good call quality, customizable Jabra Advanced ANC and very good sound quality from the Elite 85t, but they can also choose the color that suits them best. Whether glamorous gold / beige, timeless black or elegant gray – the Jabra Elite 85t want to offer the right color for every taste.

The Liberty Air 2 Pro are said to have been designed to sound great even when noise cancellation is enabled. To achieve this, Soundcore engineers developed PureNote driver technology, which uses ten hardened nanosheets to form the 11mm driver in each Earbud, which is said to provide precise sound and clarity at all frequencies. Soundcore then tuned the Earbuds with both ANC on and off to ensure the music always sounds as the artists originally intended.

“In 2019, Soundcore launched the Liberty 2 Pro, the first headphones in the company’s Pro line,” said Rock Gao, general manager, headphones at Soundcore. “The focus then was to bring premium sound to the true-wireless headphone space. Today, we’re introducing our new Liberty Air 2 Pro Earbuds, showcasing a new noise-canceling experience that doesn’t compromise sound in any environment. With a range of customizable elements, from sound profiles to customizable ANC and transparency modes, the Liberty Air 2 Pro allows users to find the best sound for themselves.”

The Liberty Air 2 Pro offer users the ability to switch between three noise-cancellation modes, including Transport Mode, which cuts out low-frequency sounds from planes, trains or city buses; Outdoor Mode, which uses a lower ANC setting but wider bandwidth to block out street noise; and finally, Indoor Mode, which primarily reduces mid-range frequencies to help block out voices typically found in an office or coffee shop.
Additionally, the Liberty Air 2 Pro has a transparency mode with two different settings. Mode 1 is for total transparency, which helps to improve all ambient noise. This is ideal for runners and cyclists who need to hear sounds around them safely on a city street. The second transparency mode focuses on voices to enhance voices in close proximity while reducing background noise. This mode is ideal for users who are waiting for a flight or bus, but still need to hear announcements from a P.A. speaker or flight attendant.

With the updated Soundcore app, the Liberty Air 2 Pro offers users HearID 2.0, the next generation of audio frequency matching. After performing a simple listening test with the earphones, the Liberty Air 2 Pro adjusts the sound for the individual to ensure the best possible listening experience. What’s new in version 2.0 is that users can make changes to these individualized audio settings or choose from one of the preset sound profiles.
