Dan Clark Audio introduces Aeon 2 Noire
Dan Clark Audio is now shipping a new closed-back variant of the Aeon headphone line.
The Aeon 2 Noire in the attractive black high-gloss design is based on the model Aeon 2 Closed, but according to the manufacturer and distributor AudioNext is tonally “more lively” tuned. The ergonomic industrial design of the Aeon series has been retained.
The Aeon 2 Noire uses special internally perforated ear pads that are intended to provide a distinct sound signature with richer bass, livelier mids and airier highs than the classic Aeon 2 Closed.
Unchanged, Dan Clark Audio relies on planar magnetic construction. The Aeon 2 Noire turns out thanks to gimbal folding bracket particularly compact during transport – a bag is also included. At the same time, the weight of 321 grams is extraordinarily low. The Aeon 2 Noire has a recommended retail price of 999 euros.
