Razer Kaira Pro unveiled – the new XBOX and Cloud gaming headset
By Editor 4 months ago
The “Kaira Pro Designed for Xbox” introduces Razer’s latest innovative audio technologies on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass – for a high-quality cross-platform listening experience on multiple devices, no matter where or how you play.
On board are Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers, HyperClear Supercardioid microphone, and both Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity – so the Kaira Pro aims to deliver stunning audio quality and clear voice communication – both on Xbox Series X|S and cloud gaming.
Gamers have access to over 100 games on Xbox consoles, PCs, and – thanks to increasingly popular cloud gaming – Android devices thanks to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Due to a lack of cross-platform compatibility, gamers have been forced to use different headsets for their devices, compromising on features and performance. With the Razer Kaira Pro, gamers should enjoy the highest performance and all features with just one headset on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Android smartphones and tablets; for powerful, immersive sound and crackle-free communication – whether they’re playing at home or on the go.
“With gamers now able to play their favorite games anywhere and everywhere they want, the demand for a powerful multi-platform headset is greater than ever,” said Alvin Cheung, senior vice president of Razer’s Peripherals Business Unit. “With the Kaira Pro, gamers now get a headset for home use on their Xbox Series X|S and PC that is also perfect for gaming on Android smartphones and tablets. By pairing the Kaira Pro with a Razer Kishi and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, gamers take the full console experience with them wherever they go.”
Next Generation Xbox Mobile Gaming
Designed for multi-device compatibility, the Kaira Pro connects to a wide range of platforms and devices. Via Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth 5.0, the Kaira Pro connects to the new Xbox Series X|S without an additional dongle, while Windows 10 PCs and Android smartphones and tablets connect via Bluetooth 5.0.
Thanks to the dual-microphone design, the Kaira Pro features a detachable Razer HyperClear Supercardioid microphone for crystal-clear voice quality. On the go, the microphone can be detached and seamlessly switched to the headset’s built-in mobile microphone – keeping the Kaira Pro’s design to the bare essentials while remaining lightweight.
Multiple award-winning audio technology
The Kaira Pro introduces Razer’s latest audio technologies to the Xbox Series X|S. The Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers, introduced in the multi-award winning Razer BlackShark V2 (review), are said to provide brighter and clearer audio with individually tuned frequency responses in the low, mid and high ranges for crisp highs, rich mids and powerful bass to ensure an immersive audio experience. Using the EQ preset button, Xbox gamers toggle through equalizer presets, such as FPS mode for better enemy step location or Bass mode for more powerful game sound.
With the Razer HyperClear Supercardioid microphone, the Razer Kaira Pro aims to deliver ultra-clear voice quality for perfect team communication even during the most heated battles: With improved voice isolation designed to reject more ambient noise from the back and sides, increased sensitivity for better low-frequency response, an optimized housing, and precise voice pickup.
Ultimate comfort on the couch and on the go
Designed for long gaming sessions, the Kaira Pro utilizes ultra-soft, breathable memory foam with ear cushions that minimize heat buildup and sweating. A soft, well-padded headband on the lightweight stainless steel frame ensures a flexible and extremely durable design.
The Kaira Pro Designed for Xbox is said to be the ultimate audio solution for next-generation Xbox gaming. Whether you play your favorite games on Xbox Series X|S or prefer to play on your Android devices via cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the Kaira Pro is said to always provide the best sound experience and crystal clear chat communication in any situation.
